Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE .
  2. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Remove the power steering pressure hose from the flow control valve.

  4. Remove the flow control valve assembly (3) from the power steering pump.
  5. Remove the power steering flow control spring (2).
