Removal Procedure

Remove the fuel injector site shield. Refer to FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L36) or FUEL INJECTOR SIGHT SHIELD REPLACEMENT (L67) .
Push the lock release and remove the cruise control cable at the engine bracket and throttle body.

Disconnect the cruise control cable (1) and the connector (2) from the module assembly connector (3).

Disconnect the electrical connector from the module assembly.
Remove the retaining nuts (2) and the module (1) from the mounting studs.

Remove the cruise control module bracket bolts (3) from the module bracket (2) and the module (1).
