Installation Procedure

  1. Install the power steering gear heat shield.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the power steering gear heat shield retaining bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the power steering gear heat shield retaining bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the plastic clip to the power steering gear heat shield.
  4. Install the stabilizer shaft links. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement in Front Suspension.
  5. Lower the vehicle.
