Removal Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Paint Damage Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Apply masking tape to the outer applique and frame.
Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door .
Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front Door .
Remove the front door inner window belt sealing strip. Refer to Sealing Strip Replacement - Front Door Window Belt Inner .
Lower the window far enough in order to gain access through the inner panel, unsnap the window guide retainer from the window.
Push inward on the window guide retainer clip locks, lift upward on the window until released from the retaining clip.
Lower the window regulator to the full down position.
Remove the window from the door.
