Installation Procedure
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Buick Regal and 2004 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
- Install the antenna extension cable as noted before removal.
- Use electrical tape in order to secure the extension cable along the outside of the wiring harness.
- Connect the I/P antenna extension cable to the radio. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
- Connect the I/P antenna extension cable to the body harness antenna cable along the front door hinge pillar.
- Install the I/P compartment. Refer to Compartment Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Install the right I/P insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
- Install the right carpet.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that the cable is secured to the harness at least every 150 mm (6 in) to aid in protecting and routing the cable.
