Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Buick Regal and 2004 Buick Century. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the fixed antenna to the quarter panel.
  2. Install the antenna bezel to the fixed antenna.

  3. Loosely install the antenna bezel retaining nut.
  4. Connect the antenna extension cable to the fixed antenna.
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the fixed antenna bezel retaining nut using J 38536-A  . See Special Tools and Equipment .

    Tighten:  Tighten the antenna bezel retaining nut to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  6. Reposition the right side rear compartment trim. Refer toCompartment Trim Panel Replacement - Rear in Body Rear End.
  7. Close the rear compartment.
  8. Install the fixed antenna mast. Refer to Fixed Antenna Mast Replacement .
