Removal Procedure

Remove the knee bolster. Refer to Knee Bolster Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the automatic shift lock control actuator.

Remove the automatic shift lock control actuator from the steering column ball studs.
