Removal Procedure

Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Valve Replacement .
Remove the EGR valve outlet pipe. Refer to Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Outlet Pipe Replacement .
Remove the EGR valve inlet pipe mounting bolt (2) from the exhaust manifold.

Remove the mounting bolt (2) and the stud (3) from the EGR valve inlet pipe bracket.
Remove the EGR valve inlet pipe assembly (1).
