Installation Procedure

Install the MAF/IAT sensor to the air cleaner intake duct.
Install the air cleaner intake duct to the air cleaner housing cover and the throttle body assembly.

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Tighten the air cleaner intake duct clamp screws.
Tighten: Tighten the duct clamps to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
Connect the MAF/IAT sensor electrical connector.
Install the fuel injector sight shield. Refer to Fuel Injector Sight Shield Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.8L.
