Replacing Engine Oil Level Sensor and/or Switch: Installation

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in General Information.
  1. Install the engine oil level sensor to the oil pan.

    Tighten:  Tighten the sensor to 20 N.m (15 Ft. Lbs.).

  2. Connect the oil level sensor electrical connector.

  3. Install the engine oil drain plug.

    Tighten:  Tighten the plug to 30 N.m (22 Ft. Lbs.).

  4. Lower the vehicle.
  5. Fill the crankcase with engine oil. Refer to Replacing Engine Oil and Oil Filter .
