Installation Procedure

  1. Install the engine harness electrical connectors (4) to the PCM.
  2. Install the PCM (2) into the air cleaner assembly (3).
  3. Install the air cleaner assembly cover (1).
    4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly cover screws.

    Tighten:  Tighten the screws to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  5. Install the left diagonal brace. Refer to Brace Replacement - Front Fender Upper Diagonal - Left .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
  7. If a NEW PCM was installed, program the PCM. Refer to Control Module References .
