Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (L26) or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (LY7) .
  2. Remove the center console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .
  3. Disconnect the automatic transaxle shift lock actuator electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove both ends of the automatic transaxle shift lock actuator from the pivot points.
