NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice . Fastener Tightening Specifications: Refer to Fastener Tightening Specifications . Preliminary Procedure Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling . Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement . Remove the seat back cushion finish panel. Refer to Front Seat Back Panel Replacement . Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement . Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement . Remove the inflatable restraint front seat side module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front . Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement . Remove the seat back side outer cover. Remove the seat back side inner cover.
1	Sensor, Seat Recliner Position Tip: Slide out the seat pivot rod out of the seat position sensor and recliner motor.

Preliminary Procedure

Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the front seats. Refer to Seat Replacement .
Remove the seat back cushion finish panel. Refer to Front Seat Back Panel Replacement .
Remove the head restraint. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Replacement .
Remove the head restraint guides. Refer to Front Seat Head Restraint Guide Replacement .
Remove the inflatable restraint front seat side module. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - Front .
Remove the seat back cushion cover and pad. Refer to Front Seat Back Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .
Remove the seat back side outer cover.
Remove the seat back side inner cover.

Sensor, Seat Recliner Position
Tip: Slide out the seat pivot rod out of the seat position sensor and recliner motor.
