Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the coolant recovery reservoir. Refer to RADIATOR INLET HOSE REPLACEMENT (L26) .
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (L26) .

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2) from the camshaft position sensor (1).

  4. Remove the camshaft position sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the camshaft position sensor from the engine front cover.
