Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to SIR Caution .

Disable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
Remove the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
Remove the lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement .
Disconnect the connector from the theft deterrent module.
If necessary, disconnect the connector from the ignition lock cylinder case.
Remove the theft deterrent module from ignition lock cylinder case assembly.
