Removal Procedure

Turn the ignition OFF.
Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Reposition the wiring harness heat shield to obtain access.
Disconnect the crankshaft position (CKP) electrical connector (3).

Remove the crankshaft sensor bolt.
Remove the crankshaft sensor.
