Circuit/System Testing

Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the EBCM.
Ignition OFF, test for less than 3.0 Ω of resistance between the ground circuit terminals listed below and ground.
- Terminal 16
- Terminal 45
- If greater than the specified range, test the ground circuits for an open/high resistance.
Ignition ON, verify a test lamp illuminates between the B+ circuit terminals listed below and ground.
- Terminal 2
- Terminal 31
- If the test lamp does not illuminate, test the B+ circuits for a short to ground or an open/high resistance.
If the circuits test normal, replace the EBCM.
