Static Test
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connector at the S48D Multi-Function Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
- Test for infinite resistance between the signal circuit terminal 7 and the ground circuit terminal 2 with the switch in the released or open position.
- If less than the specified value, replace the S48D Multi-Function Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
- Test for less than 5 Ω between the signal circuit terminal 7 and the ground circuit terminal 2 with the switch in the pressed or closed position.
- If greater than the specified value, replace the S48D Multi-Function Switch 2 - Instrument Panel.
