Testing the DLC Serial Data Circuits for an Open
- Ignition OFF, disconnect the harness connectors at the body control module (BCM).
- Test for less than 2 Ω on each serial data circuit between the DLC and the BCM.
- If greater than the specified range, test the circuit for an open/high resistance.
- Test for less than 2 Ω on each serial data circuit between the BCM and the first splice or splice pack.
- If greater than the specified range, test the circuit for an open/high resistance.
- If the circuits test normal, replace the BCM.
