Preliminary Procedure
- Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement
.
- Unclip the electrical wiring harness from the fuel pump cover.
- Unclip and reposition the high voltage cable from the pump cover.
- Unclip and reposition the surge tank vent hose from the pump cover.
- Unclip and reposition the vacuum booster hose from the pump cover.
- Disconnect the fuel pump electrical harness connector.
