Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Ensure no debris or contamination is inside the housing and airbag cushion pack.
  1. Position the trim cover (1) over the 5 hooks on the forward side of the module.

  2. Pivot the trim cover (1) over the module and slide down over the 4 hooks on the rear edge. Push the rear edge down far enough for the windows to clear the 4 hooks.

  3. Ensure the lower edge of the trim cover (1) is tucked back up under the 4 hooks on the rear edge so that the cover can freely move up and down.
  4. Install the inflatable restraint instrument panel module. Refer to Instrument Panel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
