Preliminary Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
.
- Remove the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
.

Stabilizer Shaft Bolts (Qty:2)
Procedure
- Support the front cradle with the proper jackstand's.
- Remove the stabilizer links from the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement .
- Remove rear transmission bolt. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement
.
- Lower the rear front cradle to gain enough clearance to remove the stabilizer shaft. Refer to Drivetrain and Front Suspension Frame Replacement
.
- Remove and discard the bolts. DO NOT reuse, replace with NEW only.
Tighten
- First Pass: 22 N.m (16 lb ft)
- Final Pass: plus 30 degrees

Stabilizer Shaft
CAUTION:
This component is equipped with torque-to-yield fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
