Installation Procedure

If you are installing a new ignition lock cylinder, code the lock cylinder. Refer to Key and Lock Cylinder Coding .

Turn the key to the RUN position and insert ignition lock cylinder into the lock housing.
Turn the key to the LOCK position and remove the key from the ignition lock cylinder.
Install the steering column lower trim cover. Refer to Steering Column Lower Trim Cover Replacement .
Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
