Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust manifold (2) and a NEW exhaust manifold gasket (1).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 10 exhaust manifold nuts (3) and tighten to 14 N.m (124 lb in).
  3. Install the three way catalytic converter. Refer to Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement .
  4. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement .
