Removal Procedure
WARNING:
Refer to Exhaust Service Warning .
WARNING:
Refer to Protective Goggles and Glove Warning .
CAUTION:
Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Bending Caution .
- Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Heat Shield Replacement .
- Remove the 3 three way catalytic converter nuts (1).
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Standard) .
- Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to Catalytic Converter Replacement .
- Remove the 2 three way catalytic converter nuts (3).
- Remove the three way catalytic converter (4) and the gasket (5).
