Installation Procedure

- Install the battery negative cable (1) to the battery.
- Fasten the battery negative cable nut (2) and tighten the nut to 4.5 N.m (40 lb in).
- Install the battery cover. Refer to Battery Cover Replacement .
- Insert the ignition key and turn the ignition to the ON position.
- Program volatile memory. Refer to Volatile Memory Programming .
- Program all of the customer's radio station presets and set the radio clock to the current time.
