Installation Procedure

  1. Reposition the radiator (1) to the vehicle.

  2. Install the engine coolant fan shroud (1) to the radiator. Ensure the 4 retaining tabs (2, 3) engage audible.

    NOTE:

    Procedure applies also to the other side.

  3. Install the 2 radiator upper brackets (2).
    4. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  4. Install the 2 radiator upper bracket bolts (1) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
  5. Radiator Inlet Hose @ Radiator - Install - Radiator Inlet Hose Replacement 
  6. Radiator Outlet Hose @ Radiator - Install - Radiator Outlet Hose Replacement 
  7. Connect the automatic transmission fluid pipes to the radiator. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection .
  8. Fill the transmission to the proper level with NEW transmission fluid. Transmission Fluid Drain and Fill
  9. Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling 
  10. Charge Air Cooler Replacement  - Install
