Installation Procedure

  1. Install the catalytic converter front heat shield (3).
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install the 4 catalytic converter front heat shield bolts (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  3. Install the catalytic converter front heat shield upper nut (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
  4. Connect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
