Preliminary Procedures Open and support the hood assembly. Remove the air inlet grille panel. Refer to Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Trax) Air Inlet Grille Panel Replacement (Encore) .
1	Windshield Wiper Transmission Bolt (Qty: 2) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Windshield Wiper Transmission Procedure Lift the windshield wiper transmission from the plenum brackets. Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor. Remove the windshield wiper transmission from the plenum.

Windshield Wiper Transmission Bolt (Qty: 2)

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Windshield Wiper Transmission

Procedure

Lift the windshield wiper transmission from the plenum brackets.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the windshield wiper motor.
Remove the windshield wiper transmission from the plenum.
