Installation Procedure

- Install the generator control module cover (3).
- Install the generator control module cover fasteners (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the generator control module cover fastener (2) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the drive motor battery cooling blower motor and bracket (2). Tighten the fasteners (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the generator control module air outlet duct (2) and tighten the upper fasteners (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the lower generator control module cooling air outlet duct lower fasteners (1) and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the high voltage 3-phase cable (2) to the generator control and battery module. Tighten the nuts (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the 12V cable (3) to the generator control and battery module. Tighten the nut (4) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Install the body harness connectors (1).
- Install the drive motor battery cooling air inlet lower duct.
- Install the drive motor battery cooling blower outlet duct (1). Refer to Drive Motor Battery Cooling Blower Outlet Duct Replacement .
- Enable the hybrid battery. Refer to High Voltage Enabling .
NOTE:
Critical high voltage fastener. Perform second torque verification check following re-assembly.
NOTE:
Make sure the duct is flush against the seal for efficient generator control and battery module cooling.
