Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering pump (2) on the vehicle.
    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Power Steering Pump Bolt (1) and tighten 22 N.m (16 lb ft)

  3. Install Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose (2) @Power Steering Pump
  4. Engage Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Clamp (1)

  5. Install Power Steering Gear Inlet Hose Seal (2)

    Install NEW seals.

  6. Install Power Steering Gear Inlet Hose Bolt (1) and tighten 50 N.m (37 lb ft)
  7. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  8. Install Drive Belt Drive Belt Replacement (Without EPS) , or DRIVE BELT REPLACEMENT (WITH EPS)
  9. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Power Steering System Bleeding
