Removal Procedure

    WARNING:

    Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning .

  1. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

  2. Use an open ended wrench to hold the battery sensor ground tab, while loosening the battery negative cable nut (3).
  3. Remove Battery Negative Cable Nut (3)
  4. Remove Battery Negative Cable (2)
  5. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement

  6. Remove Battery Negative Cable Frame Ground Fastener (1)
  7. Remove Battery Negative Cable (2)
