Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Charge Air Cooler Outlet Hose. Refer to Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement 
  2. Disconnect Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose. Refer to Power Brake Booster Vacuum Hose Replacement (LE2)
  3. Reposition away Radiator Surge Tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement (LE2)

  4. Remove the vacuum pump bolts (3).
  5. Remove the vacuum pump bolt retainer (2).

  6. Remove the vacuum pump (2).
  7. Remove and DISCARD the vacuum pump gasket (1).
