Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Front Side Door Armrest Bracket. Refer to Front Side Door Armrest Bracket Replacement
  2. Remove Front Side Door Water Deflector
    3. NOTE:

    Disconnect the window from the window regulator, place the window in the full up position, use masking tape to tape the window to the upper door frame.

  3. Reposition the front side door window regulator rear rail to gain access to remove the door latch and handle bracket assembly. Refer to Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Driver Side)Front Side Door Window Regulator Replacement (Passenger Side)
  4. Remove Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer. Refer to Front Side Door Window Channel Retainer Replacement
  5. Remove Front Side Door Outside Handle. Refer to Front Side Door Outside Handle Replacement

  6. Disconnect Electrical Connector (1) @ Front Side Door Outside Handle Bracket
  7. Remove Front Side Door Outside Handle Bracket Fastener
  8. Disconnect Electrical Connector @ Front Side Door Latch

  9. Remove Front Side Door Latch Bolts (1) (Qty: 4)

    NOTE:

    Remove the outside handle bracket (1) and the front side door latch (2) as an assembly from the vehicle.

  10. Remove Front Side Door Latch
