Installation Procedure
- Install the radiator surge tank into the bracket and slide rearward to secure.(1)
- Install Heater Outlet Hose (1, 2)@Radiator Surge Tank Heater Outlet Hose Replacement (LTG)
- Install Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (3) @Radiator Surge Tank Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Radiator to Radiator Surge Tank LTG) Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Engine Coolant Air Bleed Pipe to Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose-Radiator to Radiator Surge Tank LTG) Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (From Tee to Pipe LCV) Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose Replacement (Radiator to Radiator Surge tank LCV)
- Install Transfer Case Vent Hose (2) @Radiator Surge Tank
- Radiator Surge Tank Bolt (2) 9 N.m (80 lb in)
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static Fill) Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Check the cooling system for leaks.
