Preliminary Procedure Remove the intake manifold cover. Intake Manifold Cover Replacement Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum pump. Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service
1	Vacuum Pump Fastener (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 10 N.m (89 lb in)
2	Vacuum Pump Procedure Lubricate the vacuum pump seal with clean engine oil. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers Align the vacuum pump drive with the slot in the camshaft. NOTE: Inspect the vacuum pump seal and replace as necessary.
3	Vacuum Pump Gasket Procedure Inspect the vacuum pump gasket and replace as necessary.
