Installation Procedure

  1. GM4754837

    Battery Positive Cable (1) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Install and tighten 12.5 N.m (111 lb in)

    Retainer Clip (1) @ Fuel Pump Cover (2) - Engage

  4. Lower the vehicle.

    Retainer (1) @ Automatic Transmission Range Selector Actuator Hardware Module - Engage

    Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Bracket (2) - Install - Drive Motor Generator Power Inverter Module Bracket Replacement

    Generator Control Module (1) - Install - Generator Control Module Replacement

  8. GM4754823

    Retainer (1) - Engage

  9. GM4754822

    Battery Positive Cable (2) - Install

  10. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten 16 N.m (12 lb ft)
  11. GM4749713

    Engine Wiring Harness Junction Block Cover (2) - Install

  12. Retaining Tab (1) - Engage [2x]
  13. Connect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)
