Installation Procedure

  1. GM4751702

    Battery Positive Junction Block Cable (1) - Install

    2. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution

  2. Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (2) @ Generator Control Module (3) - Install and tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)

    High Voltage Electrical Connector (1) @ Generator Control Module (2) - Connect

  4. GM4747900

    Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield (2) - Install - Drive Motor Power Inverter Module Shield Replacement

  5. GM4751680

    Battery Positive Junction Block Cable (1) - Install

  6. Battery Positive Junction Block Cable Nut (2) - Install and tighten 16 N.m (12 lb ft)
  7. GM4749713

    Engine Wiring Harness Junction Block Cover (2) - Install

  8. Retaining Tab (1) - Engage [2x]
  9. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9) 
  10. Enable the high voltage system. High Voltage Enabling
