Circuit/System Verification
- Verify a low 12V battery event did not occur. Inspect for DTC P0562 or similar. Refer to Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List - Vehicle
.
- If a low 12V battery condition occurred
Perform the Clear Secured High Voltage DTCs reset function and repair the cause of the low 12V battery.
- Go to next step: If a low 12V battery condition did not occur
- If a low 12V battery condition occurred
- Record the freeze frame/failure records for DTC P0C76.
- Perform the High Voltage Disabling
procedure and test for high voltage present.
- If a high voltage present condition was observed
Refer to Hybrid/EV Battery Voltage Present .
- Go to next step: If a high voltage present condition was not observed
- If a high voltage present condition was observed
- Review the DTC P0C76 Freeze Frame/Failure Records. Verify if the Drive Motor Inverter Supply Voltage Circuit Parameter was 86V or less.
- If the parameter is greater than 86V
Replace the component: A28 Hybrid/EV Battery Contactor Assembly
- Go to next step: If the parameter is 86V or less
- If the parameter is greater than 86V
- Replace the component: K59 Starter/Generator Control Module.
