1	Rear Side Door Window Regulator Sash Retainer Procedure Lower the window enough to gain access to the window regulator sash retainer. Using the appropriate tool, push the rear side door window sash retainer outward, while pulling up on window to release the window from the sash retainer. Carefully grasp and tilt the window as you guide the window up and forward.
