Installation Procedure
Electronic Traction Control Brake Pressure Modulator Valve (1) - Install
- CAUTION:
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Bolt(1) - Install and tighten9 N.m (80 lb in)
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut(1) - Install and tighten9 N.m (80 lb in)
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Nut(1) - Install and tighten9 N.m (80 lb in)
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Fitting(1) - Install and tighten - Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (2.0L LTG) or Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Primary Pipe Replacement (3.6L LGX)
Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Fitting(1) - Install and tighten - Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (2.0L LTG) or Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Secondary Pipe Replacement (3.6L LGX)
Left Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten - Front Brake Pipe Replacement - Left Side
Right Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten18 N.m (13 lb ft)
Left Rear Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten18 N.m (13 lb ft)
Right Front Brake Pipe Fitting (1) - Install and tighten - Front Brake Pipe Replacement - Right Side
EBCM Electrical Connector (1) - Connect
- Bleed the brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Pressure) or Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding (Manual)
- Reposition and install the radiator surge tank. Refer to Radiator Surge Tank Replacement
Air Cleaner Outlet Duct(1) - Install - Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement
- Connect the battery negative cable. Refer to ENGINE WIRING HARNESS JUNCTION BLOCK REPLACEMENT (LTG) or ENGINE WIRING HARNESS JUNCTION BLOCK REPLACEMENT (LGX)
- Run all necessary programming and setup procedures. Refer to Control Module References
- Center the steering angle sensor. Refer to Steering Wheel Angle Sensor Centering
