Installation Procedure
Install the parking brake cable (2) to the electronic parking brake control module (3).
- Install the parking brake cable connection cover (1).
Install the electronic parking brake control module (2) to the vehicle.
- Insert the electronic parking brake control module mounting tang into the rubber mounting grommet (3).
- Install the 2 electronic parking brake control module nuts (1), and tighten to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
- Connect the electronic parking brake control module wiring harness.
- Install the wheelhouse panel liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
- Install the tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Connect the battery. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
- Program the electronic parking brake control module. Refer to Control Module References .
- Tension the parking brake cable. Refer to Parking Brake Cable Adjuster Enabling .
