Heater and Air Conditioning Control with Cable Control(2) - Remove - Heater and Air Conditioning Control with Cable Control Replacement (C60)
Remove the mode control cable retaining screw (1) and the mode control cable (2) from the heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module.
- NOTE:
When replacing the mode control cable, perform step 5, 6, and 7 in order to remove the mode control cable without the removal of the instrument panel tie bar.
Remove the mode control cable pulley (3) from heater and air conditioning evaporator and blower module control side cable end, and release the cable retainer (1).
- Remove the wire (2) from the mode control cable pulley groove (3).
Move the mode control cable barrel (3) forward out of the pulley (2) detent, and slip the cable out of the detent to remove the mode control cable assembly (1) from the pulley (2).
Maneuver the mode control cable (1) out from behind the tie bar and the instrument panel.
