Installation Procedure

  1. If replacing with a NEW lock cylinder, code the NEW lock cylinder.Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Coding (Free Wheeling) , or Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Coding (Non Free Wheeling)

    Front Side Door Lock Cylinder (2) - Install

    3. CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  3. Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Screw (1) - Install 1.3 N.m (12 lb in)
  4. Front Side Door Lock Cylinder Rod (1) @ Front Side Door Lock Cylinder (2) - Connect

  5. Front side door latch and door outside handle bracket assembly - Install - Front Side Door Latch Replacement 
  6. Inspect the door lock system for proper operation before installing the door trim.
