Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

    Air Cleaner Assembly (1) - Remove - Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LTG) , or Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement (LCV)

    Fuel Feed Pipe (1) - Remove - Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Engine LTG) , or Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Tank) , or Fuel Feed Pipe Replacement (Engine LCV)

    Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube (1) - Reposition - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube Replacement (LTG) , or Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Tube Replacement (LCV)

    Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Hose (1) - Reposition - Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Hose Replacement (LTG) , or Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Hose Replacement (LCV)

    Intake Manifold (3) - Reposition away - Intake Manifold Replacement (LTG) , or Intake Manifold Replacement (LCV)

    Drive Belt (1) - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement (LTG) , or Drive Belt Replacement (LCV)

  8. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove

  10. Battery Positive Cable (2) - Remove
  11. Electrical Connector (4) - Disconnect
  12. Lower the vehicle.

    Generator Bolt (1) - Remove[2x]

  14. Generator Nut (2) - Remove
  15. Remove generator mounting stud, if necessary. (3)
  16. Remove the generator. (4)
