Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (3.6L LGX) , or Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (2.0L LTG)

    Three-Way Catalytic Converter (2) - Remove - Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (Bank 1) , or Three-Way Catalytic Converter Replacement (Bank 2)

    Starter Heat Shield (2) - Remove - Starter Shield Replacement

    Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove

  5. Battery Positive and Negative Cable Conduit Bolt (3) - Remove
  6. Battery Positive and Negative Cable (2) - Remove

    Protective Cap (1) - Remove

  8. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
  9. Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove
  10. Battery Positive Cable Retainer (4) - Disengage

    Battery Positive Cable Retainer (1) - Disengage [2x]

    Engine Wiring Harness Junction Block Cover (1) - Remove

  13. Battery Positive Cable Nut (2) - Remove
  14. Battery Positive Cable Retainer (3) - Disengage
  15. Battery Positive Cable (4) - Remove
