Circuit/System Testing

Ignition OFF, disconnect the X3 connector at the K9 Body Control Module, ignition ON.
Verify the lane keep assist indicator is not illuminated.
- If the indicator is illuminated
1. Test circuit 3152 for a short to voltage.
  - If a short to voltage is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
  - Go to next step: If a short to voltage is not found
2. Replace the S48E Floor Console Accessory Function Switch.
- Go to next step: If the indicator is not illuminated
Connect a 3 A fused jumper wire between control circuit terminal 13 and B+.
Verify the lane keep assist indicator is illuminated.
- Go to next step: If the indicator is not illuminated
1. Test circuit 1751 for an open/high resistance.
  - If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit or the ground connection.
  - Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found
2. Test circuit 3152 for a short to ground.
  - If a short to ground is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
  - Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found
3. Test circuit 3152 for an open/high resistance.
  - If an open/high resistance is found, repair the fault on the circuit.
  - Go to next step: If an open/high resistance is not found
4. Replace the S48E Floor Console Accessory Function Switch.
- If the indicator is illuminated
Replace the K9 Body Control Module.
