Installation Procedure

  1. Power Transfer Unit Drain Plug (1) - Install and tighten40 N.m (30 lb ft)

    CAUTION:

    Component Fastener Tightening Caution

  2. Fill the power transfer unit to the bottom of the power transfer unit fill plug hole with the recommended fluid. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers , and Approximate Fluid Capacities 
  3. Power Transfer Unit Fill Plug (2) - Install and tighten40 N.m (30 lb ft)
  4. Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield - Install - Power Transfer Unit Heat Shield Replacement
