Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (Static) 
  2. Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Tube (2) - Remove - Charge Air Cooler Outlet Air Hose Replacement

  3. Intake Manifold - Remove - Intake Manifold Replacement
  4. Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage [2x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  5. Thermostat Bypass Hose (2) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
  6. Radiator Inlet Hose (3) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
  7. Hose Clamp (1) - Disengage [3x] - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type

  8. Engine Oil Cooler Coolant Inlet Hose (2) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
  9. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (3) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
  10. Engine Coolant Air Bleed Hose (4) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Remove
  11. Electrical Connector (1) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Disconnect

  12. Electrical Connector (1) @Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve - Disconnect

  13. Electrical Connector (2) @Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor - Disconnect
  14. Engine Coolant Flow Control Valve Bolt (1) - Remove [4x]

  16. Water Outlet Seal (2) - Remove and DISCARD
