Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection 
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Front Compartment Air Deflector - Remove - Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (Base)Front Compartment Air Deflector Replacement (Oil Filter Access)
  4. Oil Level Indicator Tube - Remove - Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement

    Engine Wiring Harness Clip (1) @Thermostat Bypass Hose (2) - Disengage

    Remove the thermostat bypass hose connector bolt (1) and reposition the thermostat bypass hose. Thermostat Bypass Hose Replacement

    Retainer (1) - Disengage

    Electrical Connector (1) - Disconnect

  9. Battery Positive Cable Nut (4) @Starter Solenoid (2) - Remove
  10. Battery Positive Cable (3) - Remove

    Battery Negative Cable Ground Bolt (3) - Remove

  12. Battery Positive and Negative Cable - Reposition

    Starter Bolt (1) - Remove [3x]
